Today, the family slept, we didn't get started until around 10 am. Since it's winter in South Africa, the days are short, which makes for great sleeping since it dark out. Here is a picture from the top of the hotel over looking the stadium and Atlantic ocean in the distance.
As part of the Westin special kids treatment, the kids got some candy delivered to the room...can you say sugar high for lunch!

Cape Town is one of the furthest southernly point in South Africa. Jacob, Abey and Kristen standing facing south. Miami is 12311 Kilometers (7650 miles) away. Sydney is 12202 KM (7580 miles) which means we are almost in the middle between the two cities.
The only continent we will not visit on this trip is 6131 KM (3809 miles) away.
We then visited the African Trading Post...some interesting things are on sale.

Mitchell's Waterfront Brewery attached to Ferryman's Seafood Restaurant. Can't get any better than this...beer with fish and chips!

We walked through the market on the Wharf.
As we walked around the wharf, many local musician playing different kinds of traditional music. Here is a sample of several we watched.
Kids were getting hungry so we stopped at "Subway". We headed back to the hotel as the kids indicated it was time to hit the pool.

We decided to take a walk (burn off the sugar high) down to the Harbor Front Wharf. Cap Town Clock Tower behind Jacob and Kristen.
