Today, we got up early and headed to the lounge for breakfast. As we traveled west, gaining time enabled the family to get up early and enjoy some great family time watching movies in our PJ's. We headed to the lounge around 8:30 and had a great breakfast.
Starwood, Hyatt and Marriott properties have been great with lounge privileges, we have saved money by taking advantages of complimentary breakfast in the lounge.
The Sheraton Sao Paulo is connected to the Design & Development Center for Brazil. D&D, it's like a miniature Furniture Market Show.
Dad needed a fix, so he walked to Starbucks down the road. He ensured that everyone got a drink. First time in 9 days since his last Starbucks visit...detox was horrible. Coffee in Cape Town was shots of expresso and the lattes were always hot...no Ice Venti Non-Fat Latte...
After a swim in the pool, which every Brazilian working at the Sheraton thought we were crazy. Pool temperatures were about 22oC or 72oF but the family jumped in and had a blast. We had a huge pool all to ourselves. It was 25oC in Sao Paulo today with no wind by the pool so it was like being back at home in Canada.
After our swim, we walked around the business district to see the sights of San Paulo. The area is very old but historic. We are off to Rio tomorrow to see the sights.
Jacob in front of this art Gun in the Lobby!
Famous new bridge between Hyatt and Sheraton!
Well the kids fell asleep early tonight....so tomorrow we are of to see Christ the Redeemer in Rio! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ_the_Redeemer_(statue))
Good Night!
